Ive tried different kinds of chew sticks but he still doesnt chew on them. He just pushes them around in his cage. Any idea how i can get him to chew on them? or any particular type of chew stick? Also, how important are the little salt wheels?

I had two rottweilers (both we're put down recently) and they were both big babies. Well, mostly, they were both very protective if someone came into our house but they didnt go off and attack things! But when it was just us in the house they would cuddle with us and play all the time. They were a joy to watch and to love and they were beautiful animals! Does anyone else have a breed that is looked at as mean and evil and you know there not? And do you have any examples of how they are truly the opposite of mean?

Hey it's me again. This question is concerning Gadget. Im not particularly worried yet - just need to know what's going on. I've looked it up online and found absoloutely nothing!!! Gadget, before going to sleep, will insist on chewing both of Angel's and Snickers ears and fall asleep with one in his mouth - much like a binky. It is SO adorable but I was wondering - will this cause sores on their ears? Or is it just social grooming? Should I try to stop him with bitter-apple on their ears? Plz help! Thanks :)

It is horribly brutal what they do to these ducks, forcefeeding them by jamming a long rod down there throats into their stomachs, then once the diseased liver can take no more they kill it and sell the liver to restaurants as foie gras.Wolfgang Puck is a big promoter of foie gras. I want it to be outlawed and want to help.

I study at home and need a bit of peace. I have two dogs, one just turned 1 and the other is an 11 week old puppy, both labs. I live in N. Carolina where its about 50 degrees during the day.
Once I put her out, she wants in and is only happy curled up in my lap or running around the house with the other one (and peeing everywhere!)
How long is it safe for me to leave her outside for? I need to get her used to being outside, especially for when I'm finished studying and ready for a job. thanks guys :-)

I have tried items such as Rescue Remedy and they don't work. I realize that it takes time to train a dog, and that is fine. However, I live in an apt with a neighbor who is quick to complain, so I really need something that is just going make her sleep or rest when I leave for work.

Now 5 kittens and momma have moved in under the front slab of my porch. I called the humane suciety what a joke that was. They told me they can't help they don't come get strays. Why do we need them if they don't help where does the money go. I don't know if i will get any more pet's from there. In the mean time look's like i know have my 3 indoor cat's and 6 new mouths to feed. Now i know why people have so many pet's dog's or cat's they don't want to see them put down. WHAT A JOKE. Does anyone have any idea who generally is contacted in order to find out if a property owner is allowed (with permit or without) to keep certain animals on his property? Does zoning have anything to do with it?

I'm curious about this because one neighbor has horses and it appears that is allowed yet another neighbor had reindeer (for years) but all of a sudden had to remove them from his property.

I've had him for four year. I was hoping for four more. I cry every night. Should I be this upset or am I just acting like a baby? I need help. My parents understand but my mom just puts all the pain on me to help her feel better. She's not abusive or anything, she just doesn't understand. If anyone has any tips to help me deal with this then please answer.
