My roommates and I were discussing different things one night and we were wondering why cats have 9 lives and dogs only had 1. This is a very serious question so please take it seriously.

I have an almost five month old puppy and an almost year old cat. My cat keeps drinking out of the toliet, he has a water bowl, knows exactly where it's at, and it's always full so I dont know why he does it. After I clean the litter box, my puppy likes to go in it and just dig.. it has a lid and a little door, but she can still fit through it, I keep trying to get her to quit, but she keeps doing it. I would close the door but the cat needs it open, I put up a baby gate, but the cat cannot figure out to jump over it.... help? (BTW any rude answers or comments will be reported.)

What is your opinion? It seems as though a lot of people are against declawing cats, but still dock dogs tails, crop their ears, etc. People say not to declaw because it is not medically necessary and is painful - yet what about docking and cropping? Why don't I seem to hear much negative talk about those procedures when they would seem to be just as unnecessary and painful?

Not sure where to ask this. My friend got us a pet psychic for Christmas. Even though I think they are for the most part fake, I used it when my friend came back down to Fl. Because she wanted to experience it and I did not want to hurt her feelings.

When the lady came, she informed me that my pets were singing and hooting..my horse was jealous of anything/one around me, my daughter's horse wanted to be a dog, our pointer was scuicidal, our redbone was homicidal, bulldog was gay and the golden retriever hates everyone. My pets are all very well taken care of. Spoiled, happy . I have more pets she commented on, but these are the ones that made me think she was wacked out. What do you think about pet psychics? Do you believe what they say? I am sure they might be able to read some animals behavior, but this lady was a complete nut job! !

so two days ago i noticed my mouse was being very agressive toward me, usually she (now i know its a he) is very nice and runs up to the cage door when i walk into the room. well he was sort of antsy and well how can i say it... his genitals looked red? well sort of swollen and his penis was bigger. i didnt even know it was a he... is it just some weird sexual urges he is having or is it a serious problem? and he does live alone in the cage.

Hi, me and my sister have noticed that our Hamster is constantly eating his poop. We change the cages regularly and we do have food for him. Should i leave him alone? Or is this some sign that he is getting sick?

I have a dachshund named Killer. Im 19 and have had him since i was 9. He is my baby and I love him so much. I live more so with my bf and just got off the phone with my sister. I have a concert to go to tonight (My Chemical Romance). She told me that my mom didnt want me to know and made me promise not to tell my mom that she told me, but Killer has been sick and went to the vet. They did x rays and blood tests nothing came up...they think just the flu.Should I still go to the concert tonight? If i go home and see Killer my mom will know my sister told me and she will get in trouble, my sister thought i had the right to know though. Or should i go to the concert and then go home tommorow like originally planned before i found out.??

I have a gorgeous buckskin QH gelding, but I can't seem to get rid of his huge belly! No matter how much exercise (long trotting and backing up included) I can't seem to ditch his gut. What in the world could cause this? It looks like he's bloated all of the time. He is sounds and healthy, up to date on shots and wormings, etc... So what could this be? We're located in Southwestern Montana. He eats a very high quality grass hay, and I monitor his food intake. I grain him according to his exercise schedule.
Any suggestions or ideas????? Thanks so much!
