When an animal that is close to you dies, do you feel like you still see them somewhere or you still know that they're with you? This gorgeous husky my parents friends owned had to be put to sleep. I feel like he's still around though. It's hard to explain.

I see a lot of questions on here like, "where can you find a tiger cub?" or.. "how much would a gorilla cost?" but why can't people see that these are WILD and most of the time endangered animals, aand NOT pets!? A lot of these animals are near death because people are killing females, and taking their babies. Not only is it killing the mother, but it's killing the futur babies that she could have had. It may not seem like a big deal if one person buys a tiger cub at a flea market or something, but imagine people all over the world doing this every day. That's like killing 50+ tigers every day. And I'm not just talking about tigers.. I'm talking about every single wild animal out there. I know they look cute and cuddly when they're young, but even after a few months, no matter how tame they may seem, they are still wild. Many of these animals [babies or not] suffer and die shortly after being taken from their homes. Look at additional details.

My grandson wants a ferrett, he is almost 10 yrs old. I thought a puppy would be a better pet and was thinking a Chihuahua. He is very good with animals and his mom agreed to the gift, what would be better for him at his age? It has to be small, chihuahua or ferrett? And can any of you tell me anything about the care of ferrets and how to control the odor? Even when they are descented they have a strong odor.

Need to find a good home for a semi-retired gelding. I need to reduce number of horses. He is a sweet gentleman with impecable ground manners. Spooky when ridden. I don't want to take him to auction -- just can't take care of him the way he deserves.

See, the babies are 3 weeks now, and starting to jump in and out of the nest box on there own!! If I remove the box, there small feet might fall through the spaces on the bottom of the cage, on the floor. I have a small rug in there too, but still! What would you do?

On the way home, I found six worms that were in need of help. They would have drowned if I hadn't saved their lives. So I picked them up and brought them home. Now I am wondering where to keep them. It's raining outside, and they wouldn't be able to breathe if I put that back outside on the ground.

I don't want a huge worm box, though. Compost is smelly, and I don't want any. Does anyone know how to take care of worms? What do they eat that does not smell bad?
