I'm afraid there are no actual statistics or polls that have been done, that I am aware of.Some people may be aware of animal cruelty but do nothing, much like the underreporting of suspected child abuse & domestic violence...people are either afraid to get involved or they figure it's none of their business....sad, really!

not enough, please, if you or anyone knows of this, report it. or maybe you can make plans to take the animal away to a good home on your own. know one needs to know. if not, try to talk to this person,( however you can ) to give the pet up. either way do something. if you don't, it will forever haunt you...

No way to have an accurate count as most complaints are done as to "leave no trail"... A lot of places respect that and don't keep records.

not sure what the percentage is but I'm sure i would be in it ....the people that treat animals any way they wouldn't want to be treated themselves need to be in jail and and punished
