my doe was pregnant it look like she was going to have alot more than just the one there was alot of blood and blood clot in the nesting box.please can you tell me why my baby rabbit head sways from side to side

it is one month old it eats and drinks buy itself it cleans itself it only dose it when it is standing still. but other than that it seems healthy

it could be wry neck, or he could have had damage done to him when he was born. i would see what happens with him, he may not survive

If the rabbit is a ruby eyed white (albino looking, white with pink eyes) it is pretty common. Due to the lack of pigment in the eye, they see a little different and may sway their head slightly when they are looking at something.
If the rabbit has brown eyes, I'd have it checked for an ear infection or wry neck. The ear infection is easily treated. Wry neck is much more difficult to treat. Either way, both are contagious and could be spread to other litter mates. I'd get a professional opinion. You may need to remove that baby from the siblings (only allow it back to nurse twice a day. At that age, that all the mother will feed it.)

i know nothign about rabbits, but my dog did the same thing. i took him to the vet who tested him for thyroid problems and yup, my dog's thyroid doesn't produce enough hormone.

did the head swaying thing and all that. he's on daily meds now but is completely back to normal!
