Overgrown teeth are a sign that you are not feeding your guinea pigs properly. Guinea pigs need solid pellets, the chewing process will keep the teeth healthy. Feeding raw carrots on occasion will also help. Guinea pig chews are available in most petstores and in the pet department in the chain stores. Be careful regarding plain blocks of wood as they may have been treated with chemicals that could be fatal. Please take your guinea pigs to the vet and have their teeth filed down to normal length before any more of them die.

You shouldn't have to cut their teeth. Guinea pig's teeth grow continuously. Just give them some wooden blocks that are sold in pet stores so your pig can chew on them and wear its teeth down. If the teeth are ingrown, go to the vet.

the teeth naturally grow all the time. the best way is to give it something to knaw on such as an alfa cube. Not the straw the cube.. it makes them have to dig in with their teeth and therefore knaw them down. A salt or mineral block might also do the same trick.
even easier a raw carrot from the grocery store..(or your fridge)

you dont cut them your self take it to a vet who can do this for you and then when the teeth are a normal size you get the poor lil one a mineral stone and salt lick so the teeth stay a normal size they have to have these things to keep there teeth small i hope you take care of the lil one in time so they dont die

You give them things to chew on. They are rodents, all rodents like to chew on things and it is the natural way to shorten their teeth. Any vet will tell you the same thing. Try a lava rock.

This is easy.
Go to a vet and have them give you lessons.
It's a "hands on" sort of thing. Not something that can be described.
