I have a monkey...I have had him for 6 months now. He clings to me like crazy. Lately when he knows I am getting ready to leave he starts going crazy and crys...yes my monkey crys...but I feel so bad for leaving him. Normally I take him with me when I go to the beach and to work. The past couple of days I have been in the process of moving and I cant always take him because I can't always be watching him and he can't always be around my neck. Whats wrong with him?? He is almost a year old now...why is he so clingy??

I get A's in all of my classes. I'v been riding for 5 years. I do all my chores & help out when I can. I own to Red Ear Sliders & and 2 gold fish. I also researched every barn we could keep the horse in. (Since the barn were I'm at bourding is a bit expensive) I even know which horse I want! Her name is Autume & she is a Chestnut thouroghbred. I'v ridden her and shes perfect. How can I convince my parents? They have been really considering it. But they said no after a horse kicked me. (I was in the way so it wasn't my falt)

We live in an apartment, and the neighbors have pets. We also see cats roaming the complex at night. Having said that, we have started to see fleas in our apartment!!! This is such an annonying problem! As you all know, you can't just SMASH a flea -- they're already flat. Are there any household items that could be used to keep them away??

Yesterday I came home to find my mouse's tail stuck in the small space where the wire part of its cage meets the plastic bottom. The gap was maybe 1 millimeter wide so I'm thinking she got it caught in there and struggled quite a bit. Anyhow, her tail was obviously cut but not bleeding and the bit of the tail below the laceraton looked dead. I cleaned her off and, apart from her tail, she looks pretty good (the first thing she did was run to her wheel and start running). When I checked on her this morning, the dead bit of tail was gone (I think she either chewed it off or it fell off); she doesn't appear to be in any sort of distress and the tail doesn't look infected. I guess i'd just like some advice about how to care for it, what to watch out for, etc.

We may be going on holiday to America to stay with my auntie and uncle This summer!!!

I'm really looking forward to it but!!! one prob....




we are going for a month! my guinea-pig has never been without me for that long! we are going to see if we can either take her to my other auntie and uncle or my cousin will stay at our house and look after her!!

but still i will be worried!

my mastiff has a red rash on his belly is there anything i can put on it? my vet is closed due to the weather here and wont be open till monday. its not really bad but it itches him..please help can you use canadryl? or will that make it worse?

Hello. I was wondering can you post to the trot while riding a horse bareback? Is it even possible? Do people do it all the time? I have heard that it is one of the best excersises for riders, but then I have heard it's a waste of time. So, can you post while riding bareback? Thanks a bunch!

A few days ago I heard a mice in my closet, so I decided to put down a few sticky traps the next day. Of course the next morning when I got up to check the traps ...there he was(in the kitchen). Now, I have sticky traps all over the place and have not been able to catch another mice since then. Is it possible there was only one?? I've been living in my condo for the past two years and this is the first time I have ever encountered mice. I was thinking that he might have gotten in through my garage when I'm heating my car up.

Any thoughts?

I live in the NY Tri-State area and I want to look into adopting a puppy for my son.... does anyone know where there are any adoption places around here? Do the adoption places give all the animals their shots before you take them home? Oh and do they even have puppies or just grown dogs at shelter?

in my sociology class this morning another student asked " why are humans the only form on this earth that can organize and express beliefs?" well my teacher and i fired back. yes we can conform, we have the tools and resources to. but how can you compare humans to animals? animals are soooo frikkin intelligant, curious, innocent, intuative, maternal, paternal= and thats alot more we can say about animals than some humans. it really ticked me off when he pretty much put animals at a lower lifeform than us. humans take away the ability for animals to conform and be natural-persay. humans think they have control over animals like animals are property to humans. maybe im just ranting but does anyone else agree with me?

We rarely go on vacation but this year we are planning a trip to Europe for a month. Have a dog and two cats. We are new to this town and don't really know anyone.
