I wnat to create a book of names for pets (nick names & full names that you might also call your pet). I have 3 dogs and the list of names and nick names filled almost half a page when I sat down and actually wrote them down! Thanks for your input!!!

Breeding grounds? Natural habitats? Favourite foods? Do they make intelligent pets? Can you recommend Dust Bunny trainers in your area?

I am amazed how prolific they can be. I usually find them in places that don't usually gather dust, so does anyone know if they have allergies? I also find that the majority are shy and hide in places where humans don't pass regularly, but a small minority are tame, shameless in fact, and proudly sun themselves in full view ander furniture.

Our Campbell's Russiian dwarf hamster was just diagnosed last night by the vet with Cushing's. We may have a few more with it too. The vet however had very little information in her books about it and I want to learn more. I've been researching on the web, but only found one article pertaining to hamsters, the rest were on dogs. I need to hear from anyone who's hamster had this or has this now. The vet never suggested putting them down, she did start the hamsters on treatments with medicine every 2 weeks. I'd give the name of medicine, but her writting is unreadable. I know it shortens their life, mine were born in Dec. '05 and their life expectency is 1-2 yrs. The other thing I know is this is hereditary.

I have just got two new 9week old guinea-pigs and one of them will bite.We wouldn't like her to bite because little children love to hold her.It would be quite horrible for the guinea-pig to bite little children who are really young.We would really like your help.

I am intending to go to college next year for equine studies and sciences. First I want to find more experience with horses and horse jobs. Does anyone know of a place that is hiring or internships. I would be willing to travel anywhere to do this it is my dream. I am capable of hard work, I am intelligent, Love horses and other animals, and need the experience bad. Any Opportunities, or suggestions would be appreciated.

Western preferably but I can learn english as well.

I've had my gerbils since december and the other week one jumped out of the cage when i took the lid of and when i picked him up he started twiching violently and sat still for about half an hour and then got up, now he's fine. It happened to my other gerbil today as i was cleaning out the cage. He crawled out the show box i had them in and when i picked him up the same thing happened. I left him lying on his own for 5 minutes and now hes running round fine! What's going on? Is this normal? Please write back.

Our apartment seems to have become the critter apartment with 3 ferrets, 6 rats, a tarantula and soon a sugar glider. So when a friend of ours asked if we wanted to take in a mouse it was no problem. I am wondering if the rats and the mouse can be kept together or if we need to get the mouse a seperate cage.

My boyfriend has this really hyper dog (a Whippet pup) that is almost 2 years old. And I have a cat that does not like dogs. When the dog comes over to my house, the cat runs and hides under my bed. I feel really bad, because she is too scared to even come out to eat. The dog doesn't mean any harm, and just wants to play, but he is so hyper that it freaks her out. Does anyone have any ideas to get them to get along?

I am a Border Collie. I was born in September 2005, in Fettercairn, Aberdeenshire. I have a large extended family, who I do not meet. I live by a large golf complex and go for long walks. I am just in from a walk round the ranges, where I had great fun. I am bright, playful and very good with the GS's (grandsons x 2). What do you look for in a dog?
