i have six cats:2female and 4 male and i want to see what will happen if i buy a dog?? can they live together peacefully ???? how??

They might or might not. I was watching a show the other day that stated that if a dog accepts cats into his "pack" there should not be a problem. Then again, some dogs are cat aggressive. I have 3 dogs that could care less when a cat walks by and 1 that goes nuts.

I have 6 cats and 5 dogs. The dogs were raised around cats, so they don't really bother them. My 5th dog, a 3 month old pup, still likes to chase them. We're in the process of breaking the habit. Some of the cats interact with the dogs and the others stay away. Hope this helps...

I have 4 cats and 1 dog and they get along very well! If you get the dog as a puppy you should have no problem, the cats will swat your dog a few times and the dog will learn not to bother them. Two of my cats will seek the dog out on cold days and sleep right up next to her as she is large (Brittany Spaniel) there is enough dog to go around.
