Breeding grounds? Natural habitats? Favourite foods? Do they make intelligent pets? Can you recommend Dust Bunny trainers in your area?
I am amazed how prolific they can be. I usually find them in places that don't usually gather dust, so does anyone know if they have allergies? I also find that the majority are shy and hide in places where humans don't pass regularly, but a small minority are tame, shameless in fact, and proudly sun themselves in full view ander furniture.

Yes, dust bunnies are very particular creatures and live according to their own individual habits. I think much of this has to do with their genetic makeup.
While I have never heard of a dust bunny trainer, perhaps you could be the first one. I think you might want to try your hand at a flea circus as I've heard that that sort of experience might be helpful.
I generally don't see very many dust bunnies in my habitat. I think that this means they are generally allergic to hot soapy water and micro-fiber cloths, as I have and use those in abundance. A nice environmentally friendly cleanser is also a great idea.
My advice is to continue having fun with your dust bunny research, and when you tire of them, use the aforementioned products to rid your own areas of them.

Actually, if left to their own devices, dust bunnies can grow to enormous proportions and are then referred to as dust buffalos. Can be dangerous if one rolls your way and you aren't prepared to move out of it's path.
The ICDBC, the International Conference on Dust Bunny Conservation is looking into ways of maintaining critical bunny habitat and maintaining breed diversity while still permitting a yearly harvest for vacuums and providing a balance between bunny survival and human cleanliness.

i believe the dust bunny originated in my apartment. it's amazing, but true. i believe their favorite food has to be pancakes or something else that uses syrup, cuz they sure are sticky! i do believe they are allergic to things like pinesol, wood polish, windex, and other house-cleaning products, so be careful where you spray! unlike cats, when you point the vacuum at them they will run toward it rather then away from it. kinda cool trick, but they may go up into the hose as well, so again, use caution!

Dust Bunnies already come fully trained. Why would you want a trainer for one?
