It would be best to get your dog to a vet and find out what's causing the problem. There's a good possibility that it's mange or ringworm. Both of these problems can be passed along to people. It's also possible your dog may have infected skin. After all, scratching can leave a dog's skin vulnerable to bacteria.
Since the problems are treated in different manners, you really need to get your dog diagnosed. If it's ringworm, you can buy something for athlete's foot to treat your skin...especially if it's just a small area. Your dog will need meds from the vet.

At a guess, it sounds like either fleas or sarcoptic mange. If so, it's no wonder the poor thing is scratching himself a lot. Take the dog to the vet and they will tell you for sure and tell you what treatment to use - usually a wash of some sort. And you will need to treat his bedding also.
You need to go to a drugstore and tell them what YOUR problem is and they will tell you what you need to use.
But, why your mother has a similar problem with her feet is a mystery to me! She too should go to the drugstore and let them see what they think.

sounds like flea investation or maybe chiggers, you better take the dog to the vet and get Frontline and maybe fumigate your house. Also treat the yard or the fleas will not go away.Once you have them under control stay on top of it by treating your dog with Frontline once a month. Don't use the Hartz brand or any other "knockoff brand" They are bad for your dog.

This happens with my cat. It is probably normal allergys. Just take your dog to the vet and get a check up, If it is allergys the vet will give you some medicene for your dog. If it is allergys, you will have to get more pills like every 2 months because they get the allergys every 2 months sometimes. Hope this helped!

Dogs need medical attention like humans do. Bring the dog to a vet and get him some relief. Otherwise the dog might become so irritable it may hurt itself. Perhaps the dog picked up something that both, the dog and your mom caught. See the vet please.

He might want to be haveing a difficulty with stress it truly is the reason why he is going bald. thus, i might want to take your canines to the vet because i don't know any puppy remedies for stress. at the same time do you imagine it might want to correctly be a warm spot. those are very undesirable or perhaps if it truly is one then you fairly might want to take him to the vet to get oitment and keep him from biteing himself.

They could be bites from fleas, or he has rash from something he picked up outside. If his skin is really sensitive, then it might be more than a rash! And because you pet him, you must have gotten it too. You might want to go get checked out to the doctors because it might be very serious. Get your dog checked out too. Hope I helped. :)

fleas, mites or ringworm is most likely. Get some antifungal if ringworm (red circles, hairs fall out). Fleas- you could see jumping around, and mites: go to the vet and get a powder/ shampoo to put on him.

Could be an allergic reaction, ezcma, hot spots, worms or ringworm. Take him to the vet to get checked. More likely ringworm if they have transfered to you and your mother.
