I believe they are made from horse blood, germ is cultured in the blood. I think I am right.

most rabies vaccines are fresh killed. They are either made in an animal host (and then taken from them) or grow in petri dishes of blood or serum. A lot depends on the animal it is intended for.

There are two types, killed or live modified. Both are altered so they cannot cause rabies in the body. The virus is mixed with a diluent for injection. The body then produces antibodies based upon whats injected.
