Well any name for a pet can be hard to choose. I always suggest something that small children can say. Also is it a boy or girl?
Hamster's are smart little critters, I have had many. I am kinda partial to sweet names you really don't want to call him or her Killer. So its really up to you. If its a Teddy Bear Hamster then call him or her Fluffy. I had one that was called Spud because he looked like a russet potato. So just use your imagination.

This doesn't go with the trouble-maker theme, however, I heard someone say they named their hampster "waffle"...I thought that was a cute name for a small fuzzy thing.
