It is horribly brutal what they do to these ducks, forcefeeding them by jamming a long rod down there throats into their stomachs, then once the diseased liver can take no more they kill it and sell the liver to restaurants as foie gras.Wolfgang Puck is a big promoter of foie gras. I want it to be outlawed and want to help.

Shockingly, this doesn't seem to concern too many people. It is a disgusting, torturous thing.

The same goes for the way chickens are usually farmed. Stuffed into a small barn, thousands of them, then transported on a semi - in the sun, on their way to slaughter.

Human kindness huh!

Look up PETA on the internet.

Good luck.

I agree with you, it is horrible, that is why I don't eat foie gras, and i think if we all do that and stop eating it, eventually it will stop being produced. OK, maybe we can't turn completely vegetarian, some of us, but we can survive without foie gras, so I think nobody should buy it!!!

One of the best organizations to fight for animals is the Humane Farm Animals group. The website is www.hfa.org.

This group goes in and investigates, exposes the people, notifies the attorney general of the findings, and gets the prosecuters involved.

I have never heard of the incidences that you are describing and because of the cruel nature, I will be forwarding this question off to them. They may need to contact you to get locations, names, etc., so I hope you have email contact. If not, you will have to contact them and give it to them.
