I have a 2 yr old loppeared male. He has been perfectly healthy. Recently, I got him a female who is 3 months. My male is fixed and they seemt o really enjoy each other. I see my female grooming him all the time. I have noticed that he now has spots of hair missing on his ears. Could this be the work of the female or could my male have a vitamin defiency? Im rather concerned.

effort it took to groom, exercise/play train and clean up after your animal? Or were you surprised at the amount of time you needed to spend on pet related activites and chores? Any advice for prospective pet owners?

I've never had a small pet before and am curious about the differences in personality, care, and activity levels. Where else can I find information about their care?

I've been really sick for two days now and I finally went to the doctor. They actually did a swab test and determined I indeed have the flu. They actually said I was highly contagious. I'm really worried now because my pet rat's cage has been in my room this entire time. She hasn't been out or had direct contact with me since I've felt sick, but obviously since she's in my room she's exposed to my germs. Can rats get the flu, and if so how will I know, and what can I do. Please I dont want to be the reason she dies.

At the end of last summer, I convinced my parents to let me get 2 gerbils. I did research and everything! Mymom didn't want me to..."No! Isn't the cat enough? I don't need another animal to mother!" In the end, they let me get 2 males, and I was a great mom! My mom and dad never had to lift a finger! I even payed for everything myself! Even my mom admitted I was doing a good job. Then, a couple months ago, one of my gerbils died. now, I have a new one, thats a girl. Im in the process of introducing them so they can mate. I even bought a new cage for the babies. I SO know what I'm doing. In the beginning, my mom was very strict about not breeding, but when I asked to get a girl, she was all for it! Shes really come to like them. But when I asked to get a guinea pig yesterday, she was all "no! arent gerbils enough!?!? Gosh! we don't need another animal!" I dont understand! Ive shown that im responsible... and she even likes the gerbils! What am i doing wrong?

I am about to get my first horse (I'm an intermediate rider) and I am looking at 2 different bridles (I will post the link) I am unsure if I have to buy a curb strap/chain for them though? Also could someone please tell me what the curb strap/chain is actually for, and if it is mandatory?

Ok here are the links to the bridles

I have numerous birds of prey and a very well behaved, beutiful, long coated german wire haired pointer dog. And I am wondering if there is some kind of agency that i can sighn them up to for TV and modeling work? Would there be and upfront costs and would they each need a portfolio? I live in England.

I've heard of people giving their horses small amounts of people food, like hard candy. Is this bad for the horse? So bad that it would kill them, or just not the greatest thing for them?
