Um...they are two different species? A dwarf hamster is a completely different animal from a mouse. I've heard that hamsters can be a bit moody as pets. My friend breeds pet mice, and she has pretty good luck with keeping them as pets. Frequent handling is the key to keeping them tame and friendly.

you mean besides the fact that ones a hamster and ones a mouse well mice are messier and stink bad but dwarf hamsters are usually mean every once in a while you can find one that doesn't bite but once you get bit you probably won't ever hold it again mice don't like attention much (well actually they just don't really care) and dwarf hamsters need lots of attention unless you buy a mate but it's hard to tell the sexes on dwarf hamsters and they will breed like crazy and some eat the babies. I recommend regular hamsters like (teddy bear hamsters) or rats (they are very loving and are like dogs they can be trained and love attention and even give kisses!) Good Luck

They're two different animals. Both rodents, different species.

That's like asking what's the difference between a dog and a cat.
