i think the deer heads are so cute they look like little bambies.everyone tell me mine is beautful.

LIKE WITH OTHER BREEDS THEY WILL SHOW 2 OR 3 DIFFRENT TYPES.THEY SHOULD SHOW THE APPLEHEAD AND THE DEER HEAD.

yes, it is completely fair, the shows are for the betterment of the breed. they do not tend to follow fads

Yes. The breed standard has regulations in order to PRESERVE the breed. Not change it. The Chihuahua was bred for one purpose and it was created to look a certain way in order to do what he is bred to do.
When you alter the appearance of a dog, you are not only making them look different, but you could be adding more health problems. For example, people who breed Warlock or King Dobermans aren't just making a Great Dane-sized Doberman, they are breeding in terrible genetic diseases and the life of the Doberman is much shorter than that of a normal, REAL Doberman.
Remember, looks aren't everything.
