Do rabbits need to be bathed? If so, how regularly? I've seen my rabbits clean themselve's but does this do the trick?
Also, My rabbits have a nasty habit of scratching.....besides cutting their nails, is there ay other way I can e them to stop. Finally- is it o.k. for a rabbit to randomly, almost spastically hop? I'm worried..thanks.

I an in love with a donkey at this farm, he is beyond sweet and really cut, he has a big pot belly. He has been at this boarding place for over 6 months, and his owner vever sees him. He looks like this kind, and his name is Josh, probably an older donkey.

I was wondering if anyone has tasted or cooked a dog or a cat or any other house animals? SInce there is a hunger crisis worldwide and there's TONS of cats and dogs running around rampant and in dog pounds. Shouldn't we send these critters to feed the less fortunate? Instead of euthinizing them?

I just got a chincilla a few weeks ago. Someone at a local pet store dropped him off there because they couldnt take care of him anymore, so I took him. I don't know how old he is. I've done alot of reading about chinchillas.. bought lots of things he needs and got wood for him to chew and everything... but I've just never given him a treat before. So today I gave him a little bit of a raison while I had him out playing, and he could smell the raison on my fingers and kept continueing to bite me quite hard after I had given him the treat, and began making quiet squeeking noises.. then starting attacking my feet and biting me through my socks for no reason [lol unless my feet smell like raisons]. I dont know if he could have aquired some bad habits from his previous owner, or if he was upset about not getting any treats for a couple weeks, but is it normal for him to act in such a way after I feed him a treat? Any help for a new chinchilla owner?? Any comments would be appreciated.

I bought a used saddle, and there are some places where the leather is worn down, and white is visible. The lining in front of the saddle by the pommel is completely worn down. There are a few other places where the stuffing is close to coming out.
Is this repairable? There are a few tack repair places near my house, but I'm not sure it it's fixable.
Thanks!

There is a history of people riding horses, owning horse's, etc. Why discriminate against the zebra? I'm sure zebra's would like to be taken care of. There no different from other horse's except for the fact they have stripes, right? Why didn't we choose to take in the zebra but every other type of horse? Was this so we could see at least one type of horse still in the wild and how it would fare.

I would appreciate it if i could get an answer as soon as possible. you can contact me at Ladiesman053190@yahoo.com. thanks.

I am not home during the day from about 7 a.m. to about 2:30 p.m. I have plenty of time to play with it during the evening/night. I also have 2 fish and 4 (tiny) birds. Money shouldn't be a problem. Any other information would be great! Thanks!

I love animals and have loads of pets. I also do horseriding and i have noticed that, on the horse i ride, when ever i decide to ask her to trot or canter, she starts doing it before i ask her. I also spend a lot of time with her and she seems to pick up on what i am about to do and reacts to it before i do it. My dog is also like that, she senses things and seems to know what i will do next. All my animals pick up on my mood, especially my dog and the horses at the stables.

Does the amount of feed given to a pregnant mare effect the size of the foal?? Like if she is putting on alot of weight this winter and is pregnant will it make her foal larger?

The reason I ask is---I have a mare that has an 18 mth old filly, that was very small at birth. She was the 1st foal born to this mare.

I didnt have the mare at that time. I didnt get her until the filly was 1 yr old and I bought them both.
I know she was only fed grass, hay, and water during that pregnancy. Now that I have her (The mare) and she is bred back for late spring or early summer. With 2nd foal. She is being fed corn, mare and foal feed plus hay and water. And has been on the feed since last July. I guess my ? out of all this is. Since she is on a better diet this time will this foal be bigger than the other one. When she was only getting hay, grass and water.
