In the US, pikas are generally found in the high alpine regions. They are small, furry rodents who eat seeds, grasses, and flowers, and live in the rocks. They are a wild animal and best left in their natural environment.
I doubt owning one would be legal without a permit, and as there really is no commercial market for them, you would most certainly have to trap one in the wild to get it. I am sure it would rather stay where it is.

Pikas are not rodents. They are part of the Lagomorpha family...aka rabbit. Rabbits used to be part of the rodent classification, but they got changed in 1912. As for owning a Pika, chances are not favorable.

Pika's are miserable at temperatures above 70 degrees and will die when it reaches 78 degrees hard to keep them in a home.
