This assumes that you could also understand your pet, but I guess I would ask them if they were happy and what I could do to make their lives better.
Although, if we could talk to our pets and have them understand us we would call them friends instead of pets...

I would ask her to stop chewing up things in the house...since I have had my deberman she has chewed a hole in the carpet in the living room, chewed up my recliner, eaten about 10 pair of my socks, and anything else she can get ahold of

My horse understands a lot of what I say but my cats don't so I guess I would tell them to quit tearing up the carpet!!!

I would tell Lili (my scardey-cat) that she doesn't need to be afraid of my parent's Boston terrier because really, all he wants to do is play. (And she'd tell me that that's a load of B.S. and to get lost, probably)

I would tell two of my dogs to gang up on the third dog, then he probably wouln't be so mean to them.
