I would like to change my plastic plants for live ones, my tank is still cycling and I still have more fish to add...

Shall I wait until the tank has cycled and all fish are in before I change the plastic for live plants? Or is it best to do it now while I still only have 6 platys in the tank?

Also, what live plants are easy to keep, without too many problems?

I've only just started keeping an aquarium, and thought it would be easier to start with plastic plants - but as I've grown to really enjoy this, I would like live plants now as they do look so much better...

I have a 75 gal tank with 7 african cichlids. I am wondering if thats enough or if it would be ok to add more. I am also wanting to redo my setup . I want to make a huge rock formation in the middle of the tank with tons of caves and decorate around that. is there any way to take rocks and permanently adhere them together to make one huge formation without hurting the fish? any advice is appreciated!

I thought my tank was clean. But, today I did a water change and I am using the Eheim Automatic Gravel Cleaner. I noticed that it pulled out a lot of waste from under the gravel. So, I measured the nitrate/ite and it was not good. It is about 1.0. Then, I noticed my betta has the looks of beginning tail rot. I was devestated because his tail is such a beautiful blue. So, I added AmnoLock to the water immediately and I will have to continue the water change tomorrow. So, what else can I do to remove that nitrate/ite in a hurry? And should I treat my fish for tail rot? He was treated last month and I treated him with Maracyn-two. I treated him because I had used the same utensils in his tank after my other fish had tail rot. So, it was just a precaution.

p.s. i tested my water and my all my pH, NO3, NO2, GH, and KH levels are all perfect

I have an under-gravel filter in a freshwater aquarium, and it dosn't seem to be keeping the tank very clean. It is powered by one of the air pumps, and just has the filters with carbon on top. The bubbles come up through a tube and go through the carbon to filter the water. I only have one fish in the tank, but it still seems cloudy, even after 2 months. The bubbles are coming through the top of the filter very fast. It is like a constant stream of bubbles coming out. What is wrong? Why is this not working?
