What's a good scavenger tank mate for electric yellow mbunas?

I'm looking for a good scavenger to put in with my afr. cichlids,one that will feast on loose debris and bugs,worms etc.Something like a cory cat but actually a compatible tank mate.There's one I had seen somewhere,the latin name started with an X but I can't remember much beyond that.Any ideas???

I am not certain, but i know clown loaches might work, i am going to try to put some with my cichlids soon.

Sucker fish are great scavengers and get along with everything...The Cory cats are good too, I have both.
