I just ordered a massive 230 gallon tank. What should I fill it up with? Make it a Reef? Right now, I'm thinking a tropical planted tank, filled like a forest. Can you also tell me, reef, or tropical, what livestock?

tropical is a lot cheaper than reef -- you could have a couple shoals of discus in a 230 gallon tank. that would be a really nice tank.

For a tank this big, I think you should go ask the pros.
a great shop to ask is
Living Sea Aquairums, they are the folks that set up the beautifull Aquariums in the malls and in the Rainforest Restaurant, in IL,.
