The daddy is rotating the eggs to prevent bacteria growth
similar to mouth brooders rolling the eggs in thier mouth

Almost all fish eggs have the same period of development
six weeks

Biggest threat to the babies is other fishes and lack of cover

But you cant remove the parent until the eggs mature
Unless you plan to care them daily like in a net
with a air stream to keep them moving

real good baby cover is grass all over the bottom
or rocks with small entry ledges

when the hatch they wont require food for 2 days
they while have a yolk sac to feed them
after that they are in danger while looking for food
its then they peek out of cover and become vulnerable

Best solution is bag all fish in the tank when the babies hatch
then remove the babies to seperate tank
unbag the fish back into tank

Other than that prepare for the hatching by providing lots of cover preferably where water currents go down towards bottom of tank so food can be diverted into the area the babies will be most likely hiding

Usually it takes 6-10 weeks before babies stop being
lunch targets even to thier parents
Its nature way of weeding out the stupid fish

Clowns do not eat their eggs or their babies. Dad is just keeping them clean. they will defend their eggs from other fish in the tank. It takes approximately 2-4 days to hatch. The babies will eat the second day they are hatched.
