My first batch was born about 1 week ago from yesterday and my second batch was born 4 days ago so when can they go back in?

And how are they being parents? Do I need to keep them seperate from the rest once they're born or what? I just noticed one of my cichlids bellys swollen so.. I don't know what to do where their fry are concerned if anyone can tell me anything really it'll help.

I have this goldfish who is about 8 years old and i was wondering how come its been able to live so long. not that i want it to die, but i thought it was kinda weird since most of my friends' fishes have only lived to be 2 years old.

I recently changed the bowl for my fish and when i put them in their cup ( it's just the thing i put them in when i changed their water) they like stopped moving. I put them back in their bowl quickly and they just lied on their back at the bottom of the bowl???!!! THey're fine now but what happened???

I was putting a piece of lettuce in for my pleco, but that darn shubunkin stole it. it was too big for him and he got it stuck in his mouth, and hes constantly chewing to try and swallow it. what should I do? will he choke? I can see the green in the back of his mouth... =^(

ok so i have this molly thats preganant and today is her 28th day for being preganant she hasnt bin showing any signs of being preganant. im kinda worried.im very anixious aboyt the babies.she eats all her food everytime i put her in the hatercy.and the male molly always goes buy the female molly in the hatchery trying to get in there.i think shes distracted.is there any way to speed up the birth process??

i tried to breed my dragon hmpk with a blue female. well first of all, the male is really friendly so the female can swim around without getting beat up. many times i see both of them under the bubble nest but the female always swim away and wont start embracing with the male. till one time i saw them embracing but they messed up and the female swims away. from time to time they will meet up and try to embrace but they always fails and she swims away. it was like this for about 3 days but no eggs are layed... is the male not experience?? and is this normal because i breed bettas before and this never happen..

I got a 210 litre tank but I only have lots of small filters for 50 litre tanks. Can I use lots of small filters in the big tank?
Also do i need an air stone?

I have a dwarf gerami* i think it is sick because it is acting very strange. it is sitting on the bottome of the tank and not moving very much and its friend is acting normal (same type of fish) and is at the top of the tank what could be wrong with it and how can i fix it????

Hi! My female betta is getting really fat. I think she's just getting ready for breeding, but my mom thinks otherwise. She's just fat, doesn't show any weird behavior, and is not near any male bettas. Would it be okay if we just left her alone, or do you people think it's somthing else? Thanks!

I change the water every month...I would change it more often, but it's really not up to me... I think it's ich, but I don't know how to treat it. he doesn't SEEM sick, ( hes doing his thing;sucking on the glass etc.) but i'm concerned about the spots...anyway please help. thanx

One of my two goldfish tends to float, it has to work hard to stay under water. It's a really fat one too compared to his mate... It's a really funny sight sometimes and my cat is very entertained with this fish, but I don't think it's very healthy for him/her... What can I do?

I think it's so fat because he is constipated, and maybe the digestion system creates gasses that he/she can't get rid of, which would make it float...

I think its a salt water fish that is poisonous and its blue and black in colour with teeth that you can clearly see that seem to hang over the side of its mouth...
seen it when i went to an Aquatics store but no one knows what they are called....

I bought a new filter to go along with it and I gave it over night to get cleared up but its still foggy and dark, like I haven't changed the water in months! any help? hi i have about 20 assorted mollys in a 20gal. tank
they do breed and latly i've found ick in my tank i have ick medicine its some package thinggys thatturn the water green ... i followed all instrutions and it seemed to clear up and there was no sings of ick ....then about a week later they started to die of i cleaned the tank a few times they kept dieing so i only have about 5 left so i dicided to put them in a 2.5gal. temperarally .... they seem to have stoped dieing but i was woundeing if thre was any thing else i could do to help my poor little fishys...please help!
