hi i feed mi wolf fish 10 feeder goldfish a week. he ate them all in 4 days. Is 10 enough? He usually dosent eat them all that fast, only sometimes.

By least maintenance... this means:

There is this mass of stuff they are clear, jellylike, and have white dots in them. Problem is, the female fish died yesterday. If she did lay eggs this could be a problem. So...are they eggs or just...tank crud?

I currently have a small (3-4) striped puffer in my saltwater which had 2 wave makers in it. Unfortunately one morning i found him stuck to the suctiong part of the wave maker and thought he was dead. But when i picked him off he was still alive. He looked a bit shook up and his eyes were very foggy. Fortunately he looked a lot better the next morning. However later that morning i found him stuck again to the same wavemaker. Now he looks very beat up and it almost looks like patches of skin are missing from his face and parts of right before his tail. Also, his eyes look white with a tint of blue. He is not lying down like he did the first time but is just lightly swimming along the surface. I tried to feed him but he has not ate and when fish swim by him he does not move. Could he possibly have been blinded and is there anything i can do for him?

I have a 3 month old, 30 gallon tank with 2 chromis in it. i have started to notice that the white, crushed coral on the bottom is turning a rust/gold color. just on the surface of the coral. Is this normal? If not, what is it? And what can I do to fix it? Thanks for your help.

saw this thing at a local pet shop and thought it was neat. allows you to add bettas to your tank with out worrying about them killing everything else. Just wondering if anyone else has one and how well it works. i would also like to know how much room they have? i hate it when people leave bettas in such little containers.

I was thinking about getting this and adding it to my 10 gallon tank and just getting one betta. (At least he'd have some room then)

2.5 gallon tank with a micro heater and a single betta (it's for my office). I'd like to include filtration, but I'm not sure how to go about it and keep the water movement to a minimum. Would an undergravel filter be okay or could the tank be set up with a sponge filter?

I just purchased a few female guppies. I just noticed that one has a white stripe down it's side (it wasn't there before). It looks like the scales are either gone or have turned pale. The fish is still lively and eating. Could this be caused by scraping against the edge of the heater or is this a disease?

I Just got an other salt water tank thats bigger then my 75 i got now this time i got a 160 and i`m going to make it into a reef tank. My question is i took some water out of my 75 gallon tank maybe 1/3 of the water and i also took some live rock out of it and added to my new tank. You thing it might cycle faster that way. I have 300 pounds of live rock in and a hell alot of live sand
My pet store dealer told me that it might cycle faster if i used water from my other tank and i also took one of my canistor filters from my 75 gallon tank and added it to my new tank.
Let me know your thoughts i`m thinking its not going to make much differance
