i have 5 tiger barbs in my tank and 1 betta if the barbs breed and they lay the eggs if i leave the barbs and betta in there and they eat some how many eggs do u think will last

Tiger barbs, like all barbs, are egg layers and in fact are specifically egg scatterers. When they lay eggs they scatter them all over the tank. Yes, they will eat the eggs and so will the betta.

The best thing to do is have lots and lots of fine leafed plants in the tank to help hide the eggs. If you leave the adult fish in the tank very, very few eggs will survive and even fewer if any babies will live. Here's a link that can tell you everything you need to know about breeding them.

First Barbs don't lay eggs, they are live bearers i think. Secong my betta isn't quit a eater as you mght say bjut i had other who eat all me angel fish eggs along with the angel them sels!
