I heard that there are petstores in which you can borrow a dog for a week, or so.
Where can I find one? I live in Toronto but I want to check up on it via the internet.

I have a beautiful Golden named Cashew. Unfortunately, finances are scarce at the moment, hopefully that will change. So in the meantime he has been eating Pedigree. He doesn't love it but he eats it. Any reccommendations as to food I could make at home or something that is healthier than Pedigree but not expensive? Thank you for any help.

I read on the ASPCA website that a good way to curb aggressive chewers tendencies to demolish household items was to use one of those products.

What I am wondering is if anyone else has tried it, and what is your opinion on the effectiveness of it?

I have always wanted a great dane. I have researched them on the intrenet and books. However, I don't know anyone who has actually had them. Any owners out there want to share their view points on the good and bad of having a great dane. I am thinking of adopting one from a rescue group.

My dog is a very smart dog and I am trying to get him to do on command.Like sit,stay,and heel.Hes really good at it, but now I'm afraid of treats from the store.My neighbvor gives her dog pig ears as a reward for being good.My dog loves to chew,are they good?

I have an eleven month old rottie who loves to bark, which isn't with the breed characteristics. i have tried more exercise, a muzzle, and a shock collar, nothing works to get her to calm down. I have recently been told that there is a certain muzzle i could get that they can't bark with. does anyone know what muzzle this may be. i don't need it forever, just for training purposes. also do you know where i may find one. thanks a million. my neighbors thank you also

my scottie is 12weeks old and one ear has been up upright for about 1 1/2 weeks but the other is still in the flopped down position. How long could it take to become upright? I want to show her but obviously couldn't if it stays like this.

I am not talking about a huge production, I am contemplating haveing a litter in 2 years or so. If my dogs prove to be healthy and in good temperment.
Spare me the shelter talks, people who want purebreed dogs are not going to shelters to get them.

help! i am going to sacramento, ca later this month, coming from Los Angeles! I am going for my dad's bday and got him the cutest puppy that looks like one he used to have but died :( i know he's going to luv her but the only problem is....how can i take her to him???? i have a car but its not in the best condition to drive that far...and i dont want to travel by myself. i wanted to go on amtrak but they dont allow pets....how else can i travel with the puppy ???? and then i was thinking renting a car but i wont be 21 until next month and they wont rent cars to ppl under 21! i dont know what to do! :(

I recently bought a 2 year old chihuahua from a young woman. She said she was getting rid of the dog because her kids mistreated it. I didn't relize how serious it was until i got the dog home. She is scared of everything. When I call her name she tucks her tail and crouches low to the ground. She stays under my bed, won't play and won't go outside and if I try to coax her out she cries like I'm trying to kill her... any advide on how I can get this dog to not be so scared.
