Turkey skin can be a little much for some dogs and cause a bout of pancreatitis.

Remove the skin, or feed very little of it and your dog will be fine.

Don't ever feed COOKED bones. However if you want to break off a wing or leg for your dog before you cook the bird go for it. A very healthy meal your dog, again remove the skin. Raw meaty bones are safe, and healthy for your dog to eat.

REMOVE THE BONES!!! The meat is completely safe for dogs just don't let them have the bones. Turkey and other foul have bones that splinter when the dogs crunch them and the splinters can get lodged in their throats. That's not a myth. BTW Evan means tryptophan

I am not sure. I've on no account heard about this. I provide my canine turkey and it doesnt bother him. Many excessive quality petfoods have turkey in them, so i do not see the way it might be bad.

cooked turkey, remove the bones. cooked bird bones do become brittle and can damage the internals of a dog. Raw Turkey, they can eat it whole

As long as there is no bones it's safe, i've fed my dogs turkey meat before, it's an everyday thing just whenever I have scraps.

apparently there is some thing in turkey..cant remember...It makes us sleepy after a big turkey dinner.Well it makes the dog sleepy too.I dont feel it is harmful...and if you have a noisey yappy dog at a family gathering..by all means give it lots of turkey and then you will have a happy sleepy quiet dog.I give my dog turkey all the time in small amts..cooked and ground up..with other veggies..no bones.....

Turkey is fine, I feed it to my dogs all the time. :) Not too much though, you don't want an obese dog.

Here is a list that I abide by:

Turkey is not on this Bad food for dogs list! So go ahead!! But check under the 'table scraps' part of the list.
