Hi there
I really would like to foster puppies. Thte problem is my family is not home the ENTIRE day .
one parent has work ( 2ice a week)
and the other is fulll time
I have to go to school so i am not going to be home 24/7
What should i do!!????? my dreammis to own and foster puppies!!

Also is there a website that you can look about fostering pups?

This is the dog food we are currently feeding our dogs. It is safe, right?

If this dog food isn't safe what is. The other day I was told Purina's food was on the recall list. I thought it was only wet food but then I was told their dry food is, too. I am so scared for my dogs, I do not want anything to happen to them. I downloaded the "Free Dog Cook Book" from http://www.i-love-dogs.com Has anyone else tried this. Are the foods in it good? Are they healthy?
I am a concerned doggy parent and only want what's best for my babies. They are very important to me and I don't want anything to happen to them. I want them to live a long healthy life.
Btw, are ANY of the dry dog foods on the market 100% safe to use? Maybe I better start shopping for the ingredients in my dog cookbook?

He is almost a year old. July will make a year. He is a pitbull mixed with a lab. He is very good about going outside but he squats like a girl. He has not been neutered yet.

I wanted to know what are some people foods that I can give my dog that would be a healthy treat. So far I have given her apple slices ( with no core or seeds) and carrots. Are there other fruits/ vegetables or other foods that I might already have in the fridge or pantry that dogs really like that I could try giving her?
If I were to buy a packaged treat for her what brand is healthy?
(note: my dog tends to like things that are chicken flavored or that are meaty and does not seem to like sweeter treats, like things that are peanut butter flavored)

someone told me that their dog was registered with K9 papers (u.k.)

what is this? is it the same as kennel club?

This new dog I have is for sure mostly a Black Lab but with his fussy hair I think he is a mix with something. He is 5 months old and stands knee high to me and already weighs over 35 pounds. He has purple spots on his tongue like Chows do. Anybody know what kind of dog he may be mixed with?

my aunt's dog died of giving birth.. it could not breathe... the dog gave birth to 2 dead puppies and there are still another 2 inside her womb.. is there any chance that the 2 puppies left inside thier dead mother's body survive???

I have had chihuahuas and they act like the biggest, meanest dogs in the universe.

i have had, (and currently do have) pitbulls that believe they are nothing more than lap dogs.

It seems that alot of, (not all) small dogs consider themselves to be the biggest, baddest thing walking, while alot of, (again not all) think they are the smallest, fragile flowers on earth.

Why is this?

I'm going to get a German Shepherd. I'm pretty sure that I am going to get a boy, and if so I will be naming him salem...however just in case I decide I like one of the girls better I need some name suggestions for girls because I really can't think of any girl names that I like that would fit a German Shepherd...please don't suggest names that you would name some cute little lap dog, I don't want a name that's too girly...something that would be good for a German Shepherd....I just need girl names because I had no problem coming up with the boy name....Thanks!

i got a new puppy.. she:s 8 wks now but i got her 3 wks ago and like i told everyone and they are all like.. eew.. i dont like them and they yap alot and they r so shy n stuff.. and bambi.. my chihuahua isnt like that.. she is very social and has never yapped ever since i got her... she is now housebroken and very obidient... u have to get to know her though and you know how chihuahuas r extremely attached to one person, well she is but not extremely where she gets agressive or jealous... i didnt like chihuhuas cuz i though they where all the same (yaps alot, annoying, always scared and timid) but bambi proved me wrong
