Dogs only understand one or two words in a sentence. They can understand simple instructions such as "sit" "stay" "roll over", if the words come attached with an action. "Let's go", and "okay, you're free" are understood when you make a move to go or release a dog from "stay". But words not connected to an immediate action, dogs just don't comprehend the way humans do. They are like permanent 2-year-olds. The best way to train your dog is to first spend lots of time with it, repeat and stay firm on your decisions. When you say "come here", that means "come here" every time. When you say "no", that means no.
As for talking back, dogs "talk" with lots of body language. They may not understand English pratter, but they do understand facial expressions indicating sadness, happiness with a smile, anger with a menacing frown, "and just plain "Go away!" with a pointed finger and a menacing tone of voice. They understand the differences in speaking tones, higher for happy, loud and higher pitched for anger, low and crying for sad. They understand hand signals too, so simple sign language signs can be used as signals for communication with your dog.
You can figure out what they are thinking by their body language. A ****** head and staring shows intense interest, nosing around shows curiousity, and growling means they don't like something. Spending time with your pet will help you get to know your pet's methods of communication, watching your pet when they are not aware of you helps you know what they are like when you are not around. It always rewarding to get to know a loyal dog as a friend.

Dogs don't know how to speak human no matter what language you speak. They understand tones and sounds. If you repeated say the same thing using an object then they will understand that that sound is associated with the object you are showing her.

She might bark back at you, but no she will not talk like you or me.

As for the condom thing. If you are planning to use it then I hope that the person who is using it knows how or else neither of you should be doing what you are planning because that just wouldn't be safe at all.

First, give me all your money and everything you own. Then go jump in the Pacific ocean and scream "shark!" three times. After this, come back to your dog and he will understand every word you say. I'm not sure why you would use a condom since your a FREAKIN GIRL!

Maybe not every single word but the basic jest if she is a smart dog. If she is dumb ? Well you are on your own. And yes they answer you. Have you ever noticed your dog sneeze that means yes or look at you and yawn that is also an in agreement but means more like " a lot " or " very much" Watch her or his eyes when you talk to your dog ask a question like if they would like to play out side and see if they blink, yawn or sneeze. Some dogs sound like they are belching that is a sort of " all's good "
Most people don't notice but their dogs are trying to communicate with them. Check it out.

Talk to the dog how you would to a kid, then work up to adult. Your dog will speak in dog to you, like they would to a puppy then as an adult. It's up to you to figure out what your dog is saying.

Condoms come with instructions. Read the box or have your dog read it to you. XP

as dog's don't speak english, there is no way to talk to your dog unless you do it intuitively, and even then it's not words but more like feelings and pictures.

as your boyfriend how to use a condom, he'd know and would likely love to show you.
