Today I was at a dog park with my small dog who has never attacked or injured any dog or human, a very small 2lbs Chihuahua came in, the dogs were getting along fine and then my dog started chasing the little dog and pounced on it, the dog started to cry, it was terrible, I retrieved my dog, leased him(both dogs were off their leads) and gave the man my number. He called me a while ago and let me know that the vet bills are already adding up (it seems his little ribs are broken) I desperately need to know what my financial obligations are with regard to the vet bills ? I am not trying to get out of my responsibilty, but I am a student and I don't have money to just pay all the vet bills, I just really don't know what my obligations are, please help.

We have just recently found a lot of mice droppings, and now we're seeing mice everywhere. My dog has been catching them, and we have also found a few dead ones she's caught while we weren't home. And she's had her shots, But I'm still not sure if she can get sick from them or not. But when she catches them, she basically only grabs it and I guess crunches or bites it then spits it out. ( Sorry if the description is gross. ) But I really need to know if she can get sick. This has been going on for a few weeks now.

My female Chihuahua is only 10 months old and her daddy is trying to mate with her. Does anyone out there know if this should be permitted? And if so, is there going to be any abnormalities with the pups?

My mother is handicaped, And my father works full time. I'm thinking about getting a dog and was wondering about a Yorkie. I need a dog who dosen't mind being inside alot, because I help take care of my mom. Also my parents don't want a dog who barks alot. We have two cats so what ever dog we get will have to be good with cats. I'd be the one who takes care of the dog so I need one that is friendly and quiet, I'd like a dog on the smaller side, one our cats and, two I've never been a fan of big dogs. (childhood thing.) I also spend a lot of time on my computer writing. So my question is would a Yorkie be best for my family or if not what type of dog would be best?

We got a new dog from the humane society today. She is 7 months old-- a lab mix. SHE seems to be doing great... our 2 year old dog, however, is a differant story... She (our 2 year old) is not agressive or anything, just a little overwhelmed about the whole thing, almost a little fearful and a little overwhelmed by it all. Any advise to help them adjust to all this change? Thanks!

I don't want to pay high dollar for manufacturer motorcyle paint, I just want an over-the-counter product that won't crack as the gas tank expands with the weather.

I bought dog nail clippers a month ago and wanted to manually clip them, but I'm afraid to clip too far. Is there any visible sign where the vein is?

I am picking up a new puppy next month when she is 8 weeks old. When I picked her, she was covered in fleas as was her mother.

I want to be prepared to treat her immediately when I bring her home.

Does anyone know of a product you can use on such a small puppy?

So far everything I have seen says not to use on a puppy less than 12 weeks.

Thanks!

Someone I met at work today told me that he feeds his dog two raw eggs every morning with his normal food. Is it safe and healthy to do that?
