You dont neccisarily have a question.

BUT i like how you think. I love goldendoodles!! They make great pets and are very nice. My cousin has a King charles spaniel and he says they get along with like any dog lol.

I like your choice! I think you should stick with it!!

I'm sorry about your Newfoundland.I hope that you will be happy with your new dogs! Good luck!

Goldendoodles are mixed breed dogs. Because they are mixed breed, some will be more poodle-like and some will be more like goldens. They are not hypoallergenic and they do shed no matter what any breeder tells you. Generally, responsible breeders will not breed "designer" dogs. They are no different or better than any shelter dog and you will be spending a lot more money.

My sister owns two Cavalier King Charles Spaniels. They are a wonderful breed, very people-oriented and friendly. They have gotten very popular in recent years, and they can have heart problems so make sure you find a puppy from a good breeder.

We considered a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, but after researching and talking to breeders we decided against it due to their many health problems (they usually develop heart murmurs and are prone to seizures). They are very sweet-tempered though, which is a plus. We decided to go with a Golden Retriever and we love her to pieces.... the issue with all these "Doodles" is that you never know if they dog will be more Poodle or more Lab/Golden/whatever. If you are looking for a low-shed, a doodle is not necessarily the best way to go, especially if it tends to be like a Golden and sheds A LOT!

A greater concern I have for you is getting 2 dogs at the same time. Oftentimes when 2 dogs or puppies are brought into a household at the same time they either hate each other or they bond only to each other. Either of these could be problematic as on the one hand you could have fighting for the dominant dog position, or on the other hand the pups bond too much with each other they will not form as good a relationship with you and could be difficult to train. You may want to consider getting one now and another one in 6 - 12 months.

If you're thinking about a goldendoodle, why pay such high prices for a mixed breed dog? If a mixed breed is what you want, go to the local animal shelter & adopt one. I have 6 dogs & except for the two youngest which are littermates, they are 3 years apart & mixed breeds. Partly by chance since they are rescues but the good thing is we won't lose them all at one time. And they are from 80 lb chow mix to 4 lb 10 oz toy poodles so the difference in size shouldn't make much of a difference.

When You Get Her Back Put A Tag On The Dog! It's Agaisn't The Law If She Does Not Have A Tag On Her. If I Were you i might cross out at two:30 within the morning take a large heavy torch for mild and deffence and cross seek for her!

Rather than waste your money on a fancy named mixed breed, check the shelter for that exact combination. People tend to buy those dogs and when they don't turn out to be what the So called breeder promised them it would be, they get dumped at the shelter.. It's likely you can get one for a fraction of the price your back yard breeder is willing to sell you one for..

Remember they aren't real purebreds, they aren't recognized as a breed, there is no standard to stick to, the dogs can and do look like any combination of the two breeds.. There are no guarantees on size, temperament, coat, health or anything.

Look up the breed profile and see how well the dogs would be a match for your family. Hyper, shedder, hypoallergenic, etc.... that's the best advice I can offer you. Basically, do your homework. Some people may like a goldendoodle (whatever that is!! lol ) but it may not be right for you.

That sounds like a fine combination to me.
For years I had a greyhound and a miniature poodle. When the poodle died I got a toy poodle, which would jump up on the greyhound's legs one by one, until the big dog would sneeze and walk away.
