Not sure which food is better as both seem pretty good.

Innova or California Natural?

Any experience with either or both brands?

My dog (ecko), he will not live me alone to eat anything. He jumpson me ,yelps,barks everyting. I have never ever given him people food ever! What can i do to get him off my back?

I have a 6 month old Jack Russell/Chihuahua. She is a active little thing. One of her traits is her big ears for her little body. For the past 5 months she would keep both of her ears up at all times. The past few days only one of her ears is up while the other one is flapped down. She raises it at times but now it's down over 95% of the time. Should I be concerned about this? She also has not been eating very much the last 3 days. Any advice for me?

I have 2 female dogs: Mel is a Dingo x Border Collie and Jess is an Akita x English Setter. Mel is 5 years old and Jess is 3 years old. I've decided that I want another dog (purebred) but I want a puppy this time as I adopted Mel and Jess. Mel was 3 years old when I get her and Jess was 2 years old.

Although adoption is very rewarding, I feel like getting a pup from a breeder but have NO IDEA what breed would be compatible with dominant crosses (DINGO and AKITA). My girls aren't dominant but Jess is a little reserved as she was phisically abused when she was a puppy. I've got a trainer helping me with her and it's going well.

What breed do you think would suit me?

Mel is very good with dogs but hates cats.
Jess is reserved and submissive, hates cats and does OK with dogs.

I want a large sized dog as Mel and Jess are both big girls, one that is active like my girls and will do best inside. Grooming and exercise is not a problem.

Started humping arms & legs at 4mths
Neutered at 6mths but he still from time - to - time gets excited at play and begins to hump again. Why ?
Should he still be doing that? What was the point in getting him neutured if he's still gonna get all like that ?

I am a proud new owner of a 14 week long haired Chi. i did not know anything about the difference between the APR, AKC, or CKC. I have sinced did my homework, i do have his pedigree and the only other registration besides his are his mom and dad which are APR. Can i register him with someone else, i bought him at a pet store, if i can't it is okay because i love him but i have been asked by many if i am going to breed him. this is my first Chi so i do not know much about them. can someone give me some info on their breed or registration.

I picked her up at 4pm and she was almost totally unconscience. Its 10:30 and she still isnt fully awake. How long until she is "back"? She doesnt have control over her bladder either, is this normal?

I have no idea what to do.
I became very ill and had to move back home to my parents.
But I had gotten a dog long before and am absolutely in love with her.

I picked her up from the pound just a day before she was going to be put down.
She had been heavily abused and was so scared of everyone.
However she came to me and has made SUCH HUGE improvements.

She lives normally now, but I still keep her on a short leash so strangers can't reach for her out of the blue and I keep her away from all children.
I met with a special dog trainer and he told me this dog was remarkable for being so nice considering the circumstances she grew up under, and that in a very loving consistent home with a fenced yard and lots of place to run she would calm down and be a perfect pet.

I love her over EVERYTHING and want nothing more than to find an ideal home for her.

She is about 20 pounds and a chihuahua terrier mix.
She is adorable and needs a loving parent devoted to her!
What do I do?

Its a male Yellow Lab/Pomeranian mix. VERY pretty!! anyway.. I put some of his pics on photobucket. Look at them and tell me what you think i should name him. (and let me know if you think hes cute or WHAT!! lol)

i personally dont believe in a designer breed, its a mutt or a mix breed... but i was wondering if my jrt/ chi mix was a so called "desginer" breed? he was free i wouldt pay $300 for a mutt...i love him dearly...

my dog was being borded at a vet hospital while i was job & house relocating for about 4 weeks. and when i went to pick him up he had lost about 20lbs and they told me he had a uranary infection and kindey infection. and that he probaley got it prior to his arival. they said that the cause is from drinking dirty water or puddle water with fessies in it from birds or somthing. since i live in las vegas i know thats there been no puddle water around. and that he looks like crap, very poor shape. he was very healthy when i droped him off, now hes got marks, scares no tail hair ect...... all over his body. and having a hard time going to the bathroom 1&2. and they told me it could be fateal if not treated. and was wondering if they feed him the food there recalling and what to do. (same simptoms)

my pup is almost a year old and won't eat any more, I've bought him 3 different kinds of the best dry food & he won't eat, he only eats about once or twice a day, I think he is underweight, (was told different X's not to give him any wet food, plus it upsets his stomach) I went back to giving him beneful dry, I know it may not be the best, but he'll eat it, what do I do? I have to attend a family function.My 4 month old pup has all the shots(Rabies,Distemper and Bordatella).Is it ok to leave him in a boarding kennel.He will be with my other 2 year old dog.
