If all are smallish dogs, and not grooming for show, about 4 per day, depending on experience, and if you have a washer or helper.
My friend began grooming last Dec 2005 and was grooming 4 per day by late April of 2006..with the help of a person to wash them. Her mentor was doing 6 per day, with a dog washing person..The shop accepted only dogs of 40 pounds or less.

Yeah right. It depends on the style. Puppy cut and trimming takes longer time. And depending if the dog is cooperative or not. Hehe.
If you seriously want a number, I'd say, a groomer with more than 10 years of experience can groom not more than 10 dogs a day.
It also depends what type of services the client wants. They may want a spa, de-ticking or colouring. If the groomer has an assistant, the entire proceedure will definitely be much much faster. Cos don't forget, there is still bathing and blow-dry. Not just cutting the fur.

I really don't know, but where I am from it took me forever to find a groomer. Every groomer I talk took on so many dogs they were put in bathrooms, left in cages for all hours. When I ask one when I can pick up my dog she told me you don't pick her up until I call you and you are not to come until then. Then I found out some dope up your dog in order for them to be groomed. I finally as my vet if she knew of any groomers and she gave me one name that only does grooming in the morning and is done by noon. She doesn't do it for the money she does it because she loves dogs. No dog is left anywhere..she does your dog then calls you only then will she do another. I luck out with her because when it is my turn she only does my dogs that day. So they are always together. It was sad when I did my homework on groomers what I found out. There are good ones out there they are just so hard to find. I am talking about where I live and what I witness. Of all the groomers I talk to in my area I found two that I would trust my dog with. This maybe didn't answer your question, I just wanted to tell people to really check into your groomer.

I think it all depends on the type of dog, how much grooming it needs, and how good the groomer is.

I've been grooming for 15 years, have a bather and an assistant. My assistant blow dries the dog, brushes it out, and clips the nails and cleans the ears. All I do is the actual haircut and I do 15 every day. The number doesn't change because the really big hairy ones get evened out by the smaller easier ones.

Depends on the size of the dog. When I take my Yorkie the groomer I use lets me drop him that morning and pick him up that afternoon and I just pack a bag with treats, foods , and some toys. he likes going there when I take him. It is kinda of like a daycare for dogs.

It all depends on the groomer and the type of dog.

it depends on the type of hair of dogs, if it is long it takes almost an hour but when its not long maybe 30 minutes or less and it depends on how expert the groomer is

Most grooming takes a little less than an hour. But lets say it takes exactly an hour. You could do about 8 a day full time five days a week (40 hours a week).
