i personally dont believe in a designer breed, its a mutt or a mix breed... but i was wondering if my jrt/ chi mix was a so called "desginer" breed? he was free i wouldt pay $300 for a mutt...i love him dearly...

Whether you call it feces or sh*t, it all smells the same. A designer dog IS a mutt. Whether it's accidentally bred or bred on purpose is irrelevant.

I don't actually know.
I consider mine a mutt.
I wish you could put pictures here, she is gorgeous. It's a great mix!
But I suppose because you cannot decide what traits will dominate in the dog you can't make it a 'designer' breed. Mine is as strong as a Jack russel wiht it's athletic built and as delicate and lean as a chihuahuah.
I have actually been in tears for the past few days as I was told I had to give her up.
She was abused before I adopted her, so she is scared.
I have to move to europe and they won't let me take a jack russel mix.
I love her over everything, and if I had the choice I would rather stay here than give her up.
She is scared of strangers and doesn't like to be cornered by them, but she is so energetic playful and loving to anyone she knows well.
Bah... anyone have an amazing home for her??
ah, but that's besides the point.
I don't think they can be designer, but they are certainly gorgeous.

there is no such as designed for dogs can mixs but there is one other thing you can call for mixs breeds if the dog mom and dad are two different breeds had been together and gave birth to a new born pups can make mixs . cause i have a 4 pound teacup yorkshire terrier mixs with jack russell terrier . cause her mom was a yorkshire and her dad was a jack russell terrier other breeds .

lol why are you asking is this a designer breed if you tooo cheap to pay 99 cents for a song on your ipod you should have known how expensive it was gonna be when you bought it lol oh yea and i thought it was a great comparison because its how you raise pitbulls .....if you raise someone in a broken home more than likely they're gonna grow up to steal or kill.... i have 2 pitbulls one of which who is 6 years old i've had him since he was 6 weeks and the worst thing hes ever done is peed on my carpet !
