Just recently got a female puppy and have tried to introduce her to my dominate, yet still older puppy pit bull. First time didn't go well, his ruff on the back of his neck and by his tail came straight up and had to hold him back. He's very dominate and I can't really allow him to be around her right now. My other beagle dog is fine, I think its because his balls are gone. But my other pit bull male dog's nuts are cut and I need help trying to figure out how to aclumate them. He's already snipped at her twice now and that was only because he had to hold him down so she could come over. The female pup recognizes he's pretty dominate because her tail goes between her legs. But with the beagle she doesn't care. She's playing with him pretty rough. Can somebody provide some advice that would help me figure how to get this dominate male and female puppy to introduce without him drawing blood tonight on her?

Hello, I am the co-owner of http://www.freewebs.com/foozian/ and http://pitpaws.proboards104.com/ , and I know that many Pits have had it tough, but then find great homes. Anyone who owns a Pitbull with a great recovery story, who wishes to share, it would be much appreciated if you would send it to foozianinc@yahoo.com , so your Pit can be displayed on the website. I am trying to stop Breed Specific Legislation by trying to find as many real life stories and advocates of the breed, these tend to be the most convincing and heartwarming.

*Please, if possible, also send a picture of your Pit in all their glory

I am beginning to feel very uncomfortable hearing the cries of my neighbors' dog; not the whining kind, but in pain. My two dogs are also bothered, as they seem to hear it before I do. It affects them very much as they scratch the door, so I can let them out to bark at the neighbors. As for me, I hate going outside to my own backyard to hear the neighbors literally pound the dog with something I cannot see, but only hear. Usually its in the morning and during the evenings when I can hear them cuss at the dog to move and to say how stupid the dog is. Just recently, I heard them say how they were threatening to kill it and just cook it while they were hitting it. I find it very horrifying to hear such words being an animal lover that I am and to know by fact that they might actually cook it since they come from a culture where cooking dogs are natural. My main concern is what should I do to save the dog, but won't let them suspect I reported them, noting that I'm their only neighbor?

A friend has asked my to keep an ear out for a small dog that she can look after and to give her company. she has a few mental problems because of the way that her ex-husband treated her but she has come through the worst of it. she is now living on her own and gets worried at night because she doesnt like being on her own. i think that a small dog would be better for her that a big dog as she is only a tiny lady. if anybody could help my friend it would be most appreciated. i am looking for a dog in the Plymouth area.

Hi,

Tomorrow I'm getting a new pup (Lab/Mix) about some months old I think. It's a gift from a teacher at my school. Um, in any case, is it still possible to house train it? My old dog was kinda of ignorant and failure in my part led it to not being housebroken. With this new pup, I want it to stay inside. Any starting tips on what I should do?
Thanks!
