After I moved to the neighborhood, my relatives dog started hanging around my house all the time. They always let it run loose. They live 1/4 mile away. I like the dog, and pet it on occasion. But, it wakes me up all the time at night. I've asked them to put it in it's fenced in dog area at night, and they do sometimes, but not all the time. Then when they see me, they'll say "Did the dog wake you up last night?" I'll say "Yeah it did." They'll say, "Oh we were busy and didn't get around to putting it away." I've even come home, after working 12 hours, and took it down to their house to put away. I don't have time for pets of my own right now, due to my work schedule. I almost hate living here now. It would be a perfect neighborhood except for this. They know how it aggravates me. I've considered calling Animal Control and reporting a dog running loose in the neighborhood--just to end this once and for all. Any other suggestions for inconsiderate relatives?

Hi,
My dog has just been taken into the vets as we suspected that she got a box of paracetamol out of a handbag and may have eaten 3. I thought it best to be safe than sorry, they want to put her on a drip and give her some medicine for her liver etc and keep her in for 2 nights.
They reckon that the total will come to approx £250-£300, But I dont know if my insurance will cover this. I am covered with More Than for vets fees up to £7000, But there are so many catches they have i dont know if they will pay out.
Can anyone help?
Thanks
x

there was a trail of ants on my kitchen floor, and when i went to get cleaner, byt the time i got back, a majority of them were gone. i suspect my dog to have eaten them on account of some ants on his coat.

I am thinking of making home-made dog treats and selling them at a local pet store. I have already talked to the owner and have it worked out with her. What I need to know before I take it any further is if there are any laws or regulations on this and if I will need any type of license.

I'm usually at work from 7am to 7pm (only 4 days/week though). I know certain breeds are not good because they're so high energy and mischievous (e.g. Jack Russell Terrier).

Any suggestions for breeds (small dogs) that are pretty laid back and okay with leisure time? Of course, I'll be walking him/her in the morning or evening when I'm home.

I'm drawn to pomeranians, beagles, shih tzu, and havanese. Any other suggestions would be very much appreciated.

How can I care for her leg at home. The vet told us it could be anywhere from 1000-2000 and with all of these things that have come up, we have no money left. Is there anyway to care for my baby's leg without help from the vet?

Whenever i come home and see my dog there are balls down at the base. They are hard and look like the balls he had before. Though they are not in the same place as the balls were.
