Make sure they have food and water, of course. Lots of play, but be aware that they're puppies and they'll tend to bite a little so don't get angry with them. This is probably one of the biggest problems people have with puppies and there are lots of ways to handle it; some better than others. While they'll be full of energy they do need sleep, so let them rest often. A half hour or so of play would probably wear them out, at least for a couple hours.

Puppies should go outside every couple of hours or so, even if you don't think they need to. Expect them to have accidents for the first few weeks to months. When they do you shouldn't get upset with the dog.

Anything that you don't want chewed up should be put out of your puppies reach or else they will chew it.

I would also suggest that you get yourself and your puppies into a puppy training class. Usually pet stores hold them or will know a good class. You might also want to get a couple books from your local bookstore about your specific breed of puppy and puppies in general.

These are just general ideas and there's much more that I'm sure other posters will add.

Good luck with your puppies!

puppies? how old are they and how many do you have? if they are still needing to be bottle fed then you need to buy some animal supplement formula and feed it with a bottle... if they have teeth and are walking around then you can water down their dog food (make it moist) then give it to them... they will need to eat several times a day i hope you are ready for it! If you tell us how old the puppies are then we can help you more on what you can do to take care of them!
