I am thinking of making home-made dog treats and selling them at a local pet store. I have already talked to the owner and have it worked out with her. What I need to know before I take it any further is if there are any laws or regulations on this and if I will need any type of license.

* It depends on where you live and the laws you have to abide by there: Get info from your city and state on home base business. It might be at the county office.

check with your township trustree, chamber of commerce, better business bureau, town clerk, or County clerk any of those offices should be able to put you in touch with the people that would govern the license you would need in your area. Or even the County Health Department.
