im taking care of my friends dog, and i want to know what she can not have to eat.

chocolate or onions-because when they eat either of these they can't digest the enzymes in the chocolate/onions and develop symptoms that include: restlessness, hyperactivity, muscle twitching, increased urination and/or excessive panting. If your pet isn't treated, he could go into a seizure – possibly even die.
Small things that could get stuck in their throat are not a good thing to feed your dog sometimes these small things are even certain dog treats that are not the right size for your pup and also chicken that has bones left in it could cause them to choke
And then just the obvious stuff that no animal should eat metal, plastic, fabric, leather, cosmetics, lotions, paint, ect. (you get the idea)
If your taking care of another person's dog just stay safe with dog food

At my house, people food and cats! Dog food is what they need, maybe a dog treat once in awhile. There is no reason for dogs to eat people food. If you start doing this, the dog will beg, which is so annoying.
Your friend should have told you what the dog is accustomed to.

Dogs will eat anything! What they should eat is anything that says DOG food either on the can or on the bag.
Ask your friend too. It's her dog.

chocolate, it can kill a dog, chicken or pork bones, they can splinter. best to check with your friend. the pet may not eat anything but the dog food. the dog could get sick and you will be sorry for the mess it can make

Keep feeding her what she is used to or she will get splatter @ss. Don't give her ANY human junk food. Raw potatoes, onions and chocolate are toxic to dogs. No cooked bones. Water should be her only drink and she should always have some available.

Just to be safe I think you should ask your friend and see what she can and cant eat . Best of luck and just have fun with the dog!!

Just to be safe I would stick with dog treats and it's dog food, but do not feed it chocolate, it is bad for dogs.That way you will be safe.Good luck

Fish,bones,and..CHOCOLATE! Chocolate is a poison to them!
If your friend left you dog food feed it that.
You should stick with dog food just to be safe.
