Due to the recall in food I am a little freaked out, but my dog Morgan is a medium sized rescue. She eats a stead a diet of dry Wal-Mart dog food.

Early this morning she had an accident in the bedroom, which is very odd for her. Then about two hours later she had diarrhea and vomiting occur. She slept most of the day, but she ate her dinner in good spirits. She was even fine this evening during our ritual play time.

Though now as we are getting ready to go to bed she is shivering and starting to pant. There are no 24 hour vets around my location and I am REALLY concerned. PLEASE HELP!

I have been feeding it to my 3 dogs (7 year old Benji - Chow Chow, 2 year old Miri - Rat Terrier x Boston Terrier and 1 year old Max - Yorkie x Maltese x Poodle x Chihuahua) for ages now and only during the past few days, Miri and Benji have been vomiting froth and have lost their large apetite completely.

He has been whining alot also. He doesn't have fleas, I use Advantage. I'm wondering if something bit him or maybe he has hemorrhoids? He constantly chases his tail in circles and when he isnt' doing that he is crying and chewing on it. Please don't say go to a vet, I'm broke right now.

Hi. I am seriously considering adopting an adult dog. But I don't really know how to go about doing it. It has to be a medium to large size dog. Should I go to a breed rescue or an animal shelter? The animal shelter in my town is bad-the dogs have bad diseases and stuff.

My dog is 5 months old, and she sleeps in bed with us. She's our first pup. Sometimes she will randomly start scratching our pillows, and she seems to enjoy it. She can even do it for long periods of time if we don't stop her. It doesn't annoy us, but is she giving us some sort of 'signal' or a 'sign' of sorts? Thank you.

I just recently got a Boston Terrier puppy. He is only 9 weeks old now, but I started on filling out his AKC registration application and it says pick a unique name. Well his name is Bozley we call him Boz though. I need like a longer name kind of like show names for showdogs. Something unique & not cheesy or real common. *thnx*

ok my two doggs were playing around in the living room today, and my german sheperd(zoie) got my spitz(max) right in the eye and scratched it. the eye ball . ouch! i could actually see the scratch. first thing i did was call the vet and made an appointment. they said tomarrow was fine and that it would cost 100$. i said fine no problem he is my baby. but now it's 5 hours later, i can barley barley see it. befor it was very obvious. now i have to struggle. he is in no discomfort, right now he is back to playing with zoie. if it is gone in the morning would it be irresponsible to cancle the appointments?

I have a 2 year old siberian husky and chow mix. She was a wonderful dog with me when i was pregnant and she always seemed really concerned the further along i had got. My husband warned me that she could change because my attention will be focused more on my child than on her, we both kinda went back and forth about it, however after i gave birth to my little girl i am sorta agreeing with him that she may get jealouse and do something to harm my child, i am very worried i love my dog alot but i of course love my child more and i dont want the dog to hurt my child so i was wondering if anybody has ever dealt with the same problem and what did they do ? Also i have been thinking of taking my dog to the pound to be on the safe side so i dont worry as much. Does anyone think this is a good idea or do you think that there could be any way to teach her to be a "mommy dog ?"
