If your dog eats dry food and NOT can dog food it is not from the recall. The recall is just for the Can food. There is no problems with dry dog food.
Is she in heat?? It could be that she has a fever.
Is she drinking water OK? She could be over heated.(dogs trap in more heat then we do)
Good Luck!!!

Mother of two is an idiot (be a dog lover-or knowing on-does not make you an expert in anything but loving dogs, especially when it comes to medicine). a dogs immune system cannot fight poisoning (or whatever it is that is in the dog food). This is not a seizure either (a dog having a siezure will loose conciousness and shake, then act disoriented afterwards). Take your dog to the vet. it is probably not due to the dog food, but other serious problems could be going on: diarrhea and vomiting are symptoms of many different illnesses. Panting and shivering can also mean that she is in pain............
YOur fisrt problem: feeding your dog wal-mart dog food, there are better options out there

I think you can find a emergency Vet that you can just call and explain what going on. The Vet can tell you what to do before tomarrow. I had a dog with a serious back problem New Years day and I found a Vet that gave the dog a cortisone shot, which lasted till the next day.

Call the vet or go to yellow pages and find a vet who is available. This could be a serious issue. If the vomiting continues, you need to get some professional advice ASAP. If she urinates often or she urinates during her sleep, then it is a sing of kidney failure and you must… I mean you “must” see a doctor ASAP. Try to find one and drive to the palace even if the vet is million miles away.
If she doesn’t urinate like that, then just calm down and get some professional advice over the phone.. oh and wait for your vet. Monitor her all the time…Don not panic!!!

Try to see a vet as soon as you can. if your dog vomits or has diarrhea again check and make sure there is no blood present. It might have Gastritis which is an inflamed stomach maybe from swallowing something it shouldn't have or it could be kidney problems.

Honestly due to the fact that they haven't yet narrowed down the problem with the recalled foods.. Can't tell what the problem is, what the ingredient is for sure.. I wouldn't be surprised to find out that the same problem is in some dry foods, maybe just slower to attack?
I would avoid all the food brands listed whether it's their dry or their canned. If they aren't testing their moist foods, are they testing their dry foods???

It is only wet food, canned or in pouches that has been recalled.
Now, the Wal Mart food is still pretty crappy food. I'd change her diet to something really good in the future.
For now, I'd take her to the vet tomorrow.

Call your veterinarian's phone number. They most likely have an answering service who can call the vet on call. If your vet does not have this, call the other vets in the phone book until you find one!
Do not listen to "mother of two" !!!! What a moron!

most vets have emergency services. Don't hesitate to sit down with the phone book and start calling for one. Do it now!
