Just wanting to know if the Ol' Roy 5.5oz canned food is on the Menu Food recall list? I have been feeding it to my 3 dogs (7 year old Benji - Chow Chow, 2 year old Miri - Rat Terrier x Boston Terrier and 1 year old Max - Yorkie x Maltese x Poodle x Chihuahua) for ages now and only during the past few days, Miri and Benji have been vomiting froth and have lost their large apetite completely.

Just so you don't misunderstand me, I have already taken my dogs to the vet 2 days ago for a check up and asked my vet if anything was wrong with them as their apetite was gone and they were vomiting - he said they were healthy and that they would get better within a week.
Could my vet be wrong?

Wait so Ol' Roy IS on the list? My vet said it wasn't! He also told me to feed them Ol' Roy because it is high quality food. I changed to Ol' Roy from Purina. My vet told me that Purina was one of the worst brands I could feed my dog and Ol' Roy is on the top 5 list of best quality foods!

Yes, Ol'Roy is on the recall list.
Although not living in America, I can tell you that Ol'Roy is the WORST brand of dog food you can POSSIBLE buy for a dog. I would make sure that your "vet" even has a degree! There is no way a proper vet would tell you to swap from Purina to OL'ROY! Purina is like Innova, compared to Ol'Roy.
You NEED to get another vet ASAP. You are risking the life of your dogs every time you take your dogs to that vet.
You should take your 3 dogs to the emergency vet hospital ASAP if they are vomiting. This is a very bad sign. Loss of appetite and vomiting can mean kidney failure. A lot of dogs that have been fed food from the recall list have died from kidney failure so you need to get them to a DIFFERENT vet NOW.

Ol Roy is the bottom of the barrel dog food. Its card board and left over parts.
Look into feeding your dog a premium dog food. All natural w/ no by products or corn.
And yes. Ol' Roy was on the recall list

If you are feeding them the loaf style 5.5 ounce can, you're safe. The recall was only for the cuts and gravy made between Dec, 2006 and March, 2007. Yes, the recall was for Ol' Roy but only the cuts and gravy stuff. All of the loaf stuff is okay to feed to your animals (this is the stuff you have to really shake out of a can).

Ol'Roys is definitely on the list (and overall, is one of the worst brands of dog food available, despite the recall list.)
Consult another vet, and tell them they've been fed food on the recall list.

There is a web site that you can go to to get all of the recall listings...It is www.menufoods.com/recall
But yes, it is. They are sliced beef, and sliced chicken. Hope they are ok and if this is the kind you use I would take them to the vet asap.....Hope everything works out.
