I was considering opening a cage free dog kennel. Services provided would be Boarding & Grooming. The dogs would have plenty of outdoor time and would be treated like family..If you were going on vacation and you couldn't take your dog, what is the most you would pay daily before you say NO WAY!

He Got fixed 6 days ago and they didnt give him any pain medication. He will not stop crying and he wants to be alone. Mind you he never used to leave my side. It doesnt look like he has healed much and just yesterday (day 5) it turned a yellowish color? Could it be infected or is this normal?

Is it possible that she could actually be "humping" her pillow, or other objects? My daughter has seen her do this a couple of times, so it hasn't become an everyday ordeal yet. We had a yellow female lab for 13 years who never did this, so I'm not sure how I should handle this, or if that is even what she is doing. Any suggestions?

I have a siberian husky who is a little over 4 1/2 months old. I've been taking her for 30-45 minute walks every day. I also have a 4 year old siberian husky and they often run around and play in the yard. I've heard exercise can be bad for young pups. Is this too much exercise for her?

My westie is wonderfully active and loves to find bugs in the dirt. Hence, paws and nose tend to be "dingy". She is bathed weekly with a white enhancing shampoo and I spot touch a cotton ball with hydrogen peroxide on stained areas. Any other suggestions to help maintain her white color? She's not quite a year old and I don't want to see stains set in as she gets older.

I was just letting my dog lick my face and my dad was disgusted. I told him that they have bactieria killing stuff in their mouths, but he looked at me like I was crazy. Arent their mouths cleaner than ours? Any information you have about how clean or dirty their mouths are would be pretty helpful. Thanks.

But I've never had one before, or know anyone who has? What, in terms of time, do I need to be able to give him/ her? eg. time spent at home with him before returning to work? He often wouldn't be left more than 3 hours as I work shifts and my husband doesn't. How much input do they need in terms of training- are training classes necessary, or just for 'naughty' dogs etc. I'm not getting one unless I'm absolutely sure I can give him the best life, I know different breeds will have different requirements, so I'm just looking for a guide please, we're anticipating getting something of a similar size to a labrador.

My dog licks his butt all the time and I think it might be worms, but I'm not too sure. Is there any other way to tell if my dog has worms other than him licking his butt all the time?

I have a 5 year old beagle who has slipped a disk in his back. He is currently at the vet, but doesn't seem to be improving. The options at this point are take him home and give him pain medicine and hope he recovers (50/50 chance) or he will have to have surgery which is very expensive. Are there any programs out there that give financial assistance to pet owners or any websites I could try? I can afford his regular care but this came at a bad time as I have a baby on the way and we just bought a new home. If anyone has any info I would greatly appreciate it. I live in the state of Illinois. Thanks for any info you have.♥

I have a 3 year old female beagle/dachund mix. She likes to rub herself all over dirty laundry. Also she Scoots her butt all over the carpet, then smells where she scooted. Why does she do these things.... And i was wondering what i should do about her itchy flaky skin.
Also, she is the only dog i have ever seen that buries her bones, she will search the house and try to bury it so much that her nose bleeds!
Is my dog weird!

I have a Pit Bull that has become pregnet. She was in heat and a friend of mine, who also has a male Pit, didnt know and put hers in the backyard with her when she came over, and before I had a chance to stop it- it happend. I know alot about dogs and breeding, but not alot about breeding Pits. I have some concerns, about weather or not Pit's normally need ceasarians or not, and I also heard that alot of them try to eat their young for no reason, which I do not believe (unless there is something wrong with the pup). I've owned two Pit Bulls previous to her, and have deliverd a couple litters of pups, but none Pit Bulls. Im hoping that maybe someone who has gone through this before could help me out and let me know what to exspect and if theres anything I should do differnt to prepare for the pups then I would with a differnt breed. Thanks.
Sincerely, Jessika
