He has probably been sleeping all day because he is naturally sleepy from his walks ! Hes only young and they can tire easily!!!
As for the dry nose, its probably because he is warm. This time of year is cold for us so we have the heating on in the house it maybe abit warm for him and also could be why he is sleeping alot!! You know how we feel if were feeling a bit tired but your in a warm house it make you more sleepier and obviously becuse he is sleepung alot hes not drinking as much!!! Just make sure the heating isnt up to high and maybe have a cooler place he can lay , maybe by a back door or something!!! I found that mine was the same and I kept the door nearest the back door open to let some cool air come throught!! it seemed to do the trick!! well I hpe that helped a bit!!

First off, when in doubt head for the Vet. My dog is my son so I have no problem being a worrier. Second, my vet has told me that the "warm dry nose "is a bit of a wives tale as far as being a barometer of health. I used to think the same thing , but she explained in very technical terms (which I won't bother with )_ that a dog can be healthy and have a warm , dry nose.

How long were his walks? If they were long he is probably just tired. Keep an eye on him make sure he is drinking and eating well, are you feeding him at least 3 times a day? See how he is tommorow if he sleeps all day again take him to the vet. 1 day is normal but a second and i would get him checked out

It can be normal for a puppy to sleep alot but you know best his patterns of sleeping. Another indication is whether he is eating his food. A warm dry nose is a sign that they may be unwell but not always, if you think he seems miserable it is best that you take him to the vets but try not to worry too much.

Your dog isn't feeling well. The warm, dry nose is the answer to that one. Has he had all of his shots? Is he drinking water? If he has not had shots, I would call the vet, could be Parvo. If he has had shots, make sure he drinks alot of water, and keep an eye on him for a day or so. If he isn't any better tomorrow, call the vet. Good luck.

It does sound like a visit to the vet is in order: 14 weeks is way too young for a puppy to sleep all day unless something's wrong.

Good luck!

dry nose doesn't mean he is sick. growing puppies sometimes need more sleep. If poop is normal and intake of water is normal than just moniter might just be a phase. if not definately go to vet

Dogs noses aren't cold and wet all the time, but it's usual that they are. A quick trip to the vet will sort him. Is he fully vaccinated? If not get him seen to as quick as possible.

has he been busy lately? maybe hes just tired. If hes eating and going to the bathroom OK, no vomit or diarrhea, he should be OK. just watch him. If hes not feeling better in a day or two call the vet
