And our dog is big and healthy sized, but their dog is skinny and you can see his spine, ribs, and little tail bones. We want to help them but they say they'll miss him too much. Help please?

I have a male rottie who will be 2 yrs old in March. He has been obedienced trained by a professional working dog trainer, and he has also had some personal protection training. I am continuing his training in both obedience and protection under the tutelage of this trainer at that facility and reinforcing the obedience at home. His only problem is marking in the house. Is that something that can be ultimately trained out of him or is altering him the only way to get rid of this behavior? Is is just a dominance issue? Can neutering him negatively affect his ability as a personal protection dog? I have no intentions of breeding him, he doesn't fight with other dogs, and I'm confidant about preventing unwanted breedings (he only goes outside under our supervision and our three females are all spayed). The main concern is that blasted marking.

Two and a half weeks ago i think she mated, she is acting very cuddly and keeps stretching more than usual, also yesturday she vomited early in the day. There is a slight lump next to her hip, is this where the swelling commences...thanks to all...I dont want to take her to the vet until necessary because she gets extremely nervous when we go to the surgery.

10 years old. Spent 99% of her life outside. She has integrated into the household nicely.Except...when I bring her into the house after being toileted and the other husky is there, she attacks her. They do not hurt each other...just noise and frightening...I handle it...I calm them down.Does anyone know why this is happening? The old husky is a good dog calm and loving yet she explodes!!!

My puppy is one of my only 2 family members. I treat him like my baby cause he is my baby. I lost my baby due to miscarriage and after that I got my puppy and I'm giving him all my love and care that I had stored for my baby in Heaven. And this is the only way I can feel better about loosing my baby. The problem is that I can't find many dog friendly places. Just last night I took my puppy into a store and one of the staff person told me that dog is not allowed in there. So what am I supposed to do? leave him in the car? Would you leave your infant baby in the car while you go shopping?
Anyway, so I'm really looking for dog friendly places around Southern Cali where I can spend time with my puppy.

We have a 17 week old yorkie-maltese mix. We were thinking of litter training him. Good idea? Bad idea? How can we do this? Any advice will help. We are up in the air right now. He gets cold easily so outside potty training may be a problem. It seems his favorite place to go is the bathroom. We were thinking of maybe putting a litterbox in there. Yes?

We have two german shepherds 18 and 14 months. We got Otto when Fritz was 10 months old. It was clear from the start although younger, Otto was the dominant dog. We have left the two of them to work out where they were in the pack and there were many 'disputes' between the two of them but never towards us.
We have re-enforced the pack positions by treating them in ways appropriate to their position and thought the agression from Otto to Fritz would stop. The instances have decreased in number, as time has gone on but their intensity hasn't.
Otto will have a got at Fritz at the slightest misdeamour (ie trying to go out the door before him, he thinks he is getting more attention from us etc) Although noisy the spats have been in the past all noise and bluster but in the last two weeks they have become a little more violent. They get on well rest of time
What can we do to sort the problem out? Should we ignore it and hope they sort it out,or discipline Otto whenever he has a go at Frit
