Id be a little concerned. A few years ago, I had the same problem after coming home from a job and had found a tray of rat poison that had been tampered with and come to find out, saw a little blueish color on the fur of my dog. i called my mother because it was her dog, just to let her know and I rushed it to the first animal hospital, lol and it was closed. I was like what the hell, but the second vet i took it to seen it right away. They had made my dog throw it all up and sure enough, he ate those little blue pellets. In the end, my lil dog was fine and they gave us meds to give to him, and cost us a total of $40 dollars....Hope that helps, if you know your dog ate it, take em to the vet right away...

Your dog ate rat poison four hours in the past and your sitting on the bloody laptop? Get your lazy a$$ off the chair and take this canine to a vet instantly for a couple of Vit ok pictures. Your dog has eaten enough rodent poison to kill him. If you aren't getting this dog to a vet immediately you can count on he'll bleed out internally and die a gradual, very painful loss of life inside 7-10 days. This is what you do. Put the canine within the automobile NOW and take him to the nearest emergency vet. You might shop his existence...Should you even care enough about the canine. Don't provide your canine hydrogen peroxide to make it throw up. It can be too late for that and will simplest make matters worse. Also milk will be of no support in any respect.

Call your vet NOW to see if they want you to try to make him vomit before you bring him in and then get in the car and go! Take the box from the D-Con with you if you still have it, as there are different formulations. Your pet MUST have follow up treatment. D-Con works by affecting the bloods ability to clot. Even if your dog seems fine now, if not treated, IT WILL KILL YOUR DOG. Don't waste time on here!

You should be VERY concerned. The poison contains warfarin, which is an anticoagulent and could cause internal bleeding and death. Take him to a veterinarian immediately.
