Does anyone know any internet sites with info about flights for dogs.
I may be moving to Australia from the UK in the next year and want to take my dog with me. I allready know about the Pet Passport scheme, just want to know about the flights.

This is Qantas' info. for dogs. If you find the sites for other airlines, they will probably give similar info.

Our two dogs came with us from S-Africa. It cost us a packet something in the line of twothousand pound. They stayed in a kennel close to Brighton for 6 months. The alsation was quite dehydrated and looked sick and the ridgeback had a nail missing probably tried to get out of the box or whatever they were in. But they are both fine now and happy. It altogether cost us over six thousand pounds that is why we are so poor now. :))

I flew my 2 cats from Florida to the UK by British Air.They had no problems at all and I would recommend BA in a second. They took VERY good care of them and were very reasonably priced. If you call they have a section that deals with just the animals and they can sort you.Good Luck.

regularly, canines do ok on long flights, and inspite of layovers or flight transformations. a pair airline companies have temperature controlled shipment areas for animals and different temperature threat shipment. Delta, Continental have strict ideas for their animal shipment, and make a competent attempt to make it undemanding on the animals. I surely have basically had Pomeranian doggies shipped around the U.S., yet flight transformations have been dealt with with temperature controlled bags buggies, and animals have been placed in a conserving room and checked for indicators of misery. My 8 week previous puppies the two arrived in good subject. No sign of trauma in any respect. do no longer understand approximately distant places, inspite of the shown fact that. desire this alleviates a number of your fears and solutions your question.
