I caught a stray Siamese cat at my job yesterday and now have IT in a 36/36 wire cage on my back porch...any tips on how to tame it?

Mine will watch me pass and run up behind me and bite my ankle.

If you offend her (by scolding), she will be sure she gets at least one big bite before she will leave you alone.

Last night, she jumped up on my bed, bit my foot, jumped down really fast. Then she did it again!

Recently, my sisters cat has been having problems. It can't walk more than three feet before stumbling over, and it claws at the floor and then proceeds to rub it's face on the floor, as well and hit it's head off it, too. My sister said that she had talked to another person and said their cat did the same and that it was an inner-ear infection and that it had to be put to sleep. Does anyone else have any information?

I have a 7 month old kitten (I got her a week ago), very smart and bursting with energy. This kiddo could play all day. Unfortunately, I'm not a spring chicken and while a few minutes of playing with her a day is okay, it's not like I'm the kitty's nanny.

If she's not entertained, she's naughty. She doesn't like to be held, and is biting me all the time. She gets overexcited and it becomes a fight of death or something. She acts as though she wants revenge and becomes the cat of hell.

My question is: what does one do with an indoor kitten like mine to wear her out and calm her down?

Oh, and she's NOT getting along with the older kitty in the house.

My cat gets his stronghold flea and worm every month. Found the odd flea on him lately but thought they had just come in from the garden for a free reide! I have been bitten loads on my legs, never seen one on the cat but they are where he has laid. He had been on my sons bed which I have boiled washed the bedding, changed the duvet and hoovered the mattress all over every day for two weeks and his carpet. Also i have hoovered mine and my daughgters beds and carpets every day and the rug downstairs. Is this enough as I am only finding dead ones now for the last few day! At my wits ends as my friend has said she has foubd a flea in her house and she has no pets! Was it me? No abuse please, just advice!

I'm a do-it-yourselfer and don't see why I should pay $100 to get my cat's balls cut off. I know some of the Amish and other farmers do their own steers by themselves. So how can I do this to my cat for cheap?

NEED HELP!!! I have five inside cats, two are older cats and three are kittens (about five months old). The cats won’t seem to stay off of the tables and TV. I have been squirting them with water every time they get on there, but we work 12 hours a day and the second we leave they are on the tables. Is there any way to keep them from getting on the tables or should I just keep with what I’m doing? Thanks.

I'm setting up a surprise party for my cat. She's almost 5 years old. Which kind of cake would be best: rat cake, fish cake or parrot cake?

I'd like to hear any true stories about what happened when you let your cats out when it was dark.

If you do? Do you allow your cat to run wild?
If you do, WHY???
My neighbor has a cat that she allows to stay outside, it fouls up my garden with its stinky "treats" and pees on my plants. For those of you that have cats and allow them to run free, how would you like it if I let my dog out to do this to your property??

I am not an animal hater, I have a cat and dog myself and would never allow it to run wild outside. Not only is it harmful for the animals (they can get hit by a car, diseased, bugs, etc) but they destroy other people's property...

Next time you guys let your cats out to frolic alone at night, think about your neighbors and what they may have to put up with when you aren't watching your animals..

If you're not a responsible animal owner, put the animal up for adoption!!

I recently brought a stray kitten home with me and right away, my current cats disliked him. One hissed at him, the other two just ignore him. One stayed out for 2 straight days, they are all still eating, their behavior has just changed so much.

Anyone have a solution to this problem?

Or should I just give them some time to get used to him?

My crazy kitten has a habit of jumping in the shower when I am in there, then she gets stuck and can't get back out, so I have to pick her up and put her out of the shower. Sometimes she ends up with a little bit of soap/shampoo on her fur, but not a lot, just a few spots. I know you aren't supposed to wash cats/kittens with human soap and shampoo since it dries out their skin.... as long as it doesn't seem to bother her, should she be ok?

Her litter box is in the bathroom, which is why I don't lock her out!
